I will always remember Mr. Terry as AWESOME because every time I would see him or say hi in the hallways he’d always say look at me and say “AWESOME!!!” and a high five. Also, since he was tall he’d say high five, but put his hand all the way up since I was short.
Mr. Terry was one of the best teachers at LASGS. The projects that we had in his biology and health class were really fun. The only time when I have ever dissected something was in his class and I really learned a lot. My favorite project from his health class would have to be the time when we had to take care of a egg and treated as a real child. Mr. Terry you will be terribly missed and I hope that you are in a better place. Rest in peace.
I honestly can not believe that Mr Terry is gone. He is not gone, he will live in our hearts forever through the memories that we all have with him.
I have two favorite memories of Mr Terry.
First, I remember that there were rumors spreading around the LASGS hallway about Mr Terry getting fired a few years ago. Everyone that heard wanted to act and prevent that from happening. We did not want him to leave our school. There was a special assembly held with nearly all of the students to sort things our. Everyone in the auditorium was chanting ” Terry Terry Terry!” He did not get fired, the rumors were false.
Second, I remember earlier this year at the MCLC Pep Rally, Mr Terry was one of the participants representing LASGS. He was in the sack race, along with Mr Molstad and other teachers from the entire complex. I remember him hopping to the finish line, even though his bag ripped. He kept going.
The thing that I will miss the most is getting to shake his hand nearly every morning, and asking him how he was doing. Always with a positive attitude and a big ol’smile on his face.
Ill always be thankful for having him be a part of my life, and part of everyone’s lives at LASGS. We love you Mr Terry.
Mr. Terry was more like a friend for me that I respected so much.A memory I will always have was when he had a cane and I would tease him by telling him he was getting “old” and he would start laughing and would tell me that I was as short as his cane. Every time he would see me he would remind me of how short I was and would call me short human. When I would see him he always had a smile on his face and would always greet me and ask how I was doing. I really liked having him as a teacher for both my freshman and sophomore year & I would always look forward to going to his class because it was just full of positive energy. I will never forget him he will always be in my heart ❤ I love you Mr.Terry. Rest in peace .
I would always remember Mr. Terry as a fun teacher because whenever Janira and I would go ask if we could borrow his microwave he would always be smiling at us before he said yes, and he would tell us “Am i gona get a piece of what you brought me?” and we would always smile back and say yes. I would also remember him as the BEST TEACHER at LASGS because whenever you would tell, or ask for something he would help his students a lot.
I will always remember Mr. Terry as the man who always had a a big smile on his face no matter. The dedication and love he had for the school and students was amazing. The biology room will never be the same without him. May he rest in peace.
My favorite memory of Mr. Terry?
I think I have a lot. But even though my mornings were bad sometimes, going into his class made me feel better, just entering the room and saying “Good morning Mr.” and he would reply with a smile made me feel better.
I think my favorite memory was when my family was going through a hard struggle and my brother and I thought he would be a great teacher to help us with a letter, and he did help us and he understood our dilemma and even though it had nothing to do with school he took his time and helped us, for me that’s my favorite memory.
Even though I only had his class for just a year, I can say that he is one of the best teachers in this school. Sometimes he teaches us in a funny way. I really wish to have him more because he’s one of the best science teacher I’ve ever met. Mr. Terry, Thank you to all the memories you gave us in your class. I hope you’re in better place and Rest In Peace Mr.Terry.
